On 8th Oct, DAS Solar Dongshan manufacture base phase Ⅰ was officially put into operation. Covering an area of 21.73 hm², the base is built in two phases with 6.6GW capacity of high-efficiency N-Type Module. Phase Ⅱ will be completed next year. The annual revenue of Dongshan base is expected to reach more than 10 billion yuan in the future. Meanwhile, PV cell and other supporting facilities will be jointly promoted by DAS Solar and the county government to extend and expand the PV industry chain in Dongshan for further development.
DAS Solar 3GW of high-efficiency N-Type Module project adopts the world’s most advanced technology and manufacturing equipment, which will make it a PV module manufacturing factory with the highest automation level, the fastest production efficiency and the most advanced equipment technology in China. Mr. Liu, chairman and CEO of Das Solar delivered a speech for the completion of phase Ⅰ and the signing of phase Ⅱ. ”DAS Solar will build the first large-scale zero-carbon plant in Dongshan and a demonstration project integrating a self-developed offshore floating power plant system+ rooftop distributed system + wind power + energy storage in its surrounding area. Driven by the demonstration projects, we will build a model of new energy application in developed cities along the coast, promote the local development and nearby consumption of new energy targeting the land shortage in coastal towns, and boost the reform and breakthrough of new energy operation mode and application mode,” Mr. Liu said.
The industrial layout of DAS Solar has been further upgraded with the official operation of Dongshan base phase Ⅰ and the signing of the phase Ⅱ. Other bases of DAS Solar across the country are also reaching the designed capacity one after another. It is expected by the end of 2022, Das Solar will complete the construction of 20GW of high-efficiency N-Type cell and 20GW high-efficiency N-type Modules and put into production, which can cover the short-term delivery needs of large-scale projects worldwide.
