From May 29th to 30th, the 2024 The Solar Show MENE was held in Egypt International Exhibition Center, New Cairo. DAS Solar showcased its N-type series and lightweight modules, showcasing its high-efficiency products and technological applications.

Africa, endowed with nearly 60% of the world's solar energy resources, is the region with the most abundant sunlight. Leveraging its unique geographical advantages, Egypt has become the Africa's largest photovoltaic market.

The 2024 Solar Show MENE is an important and influential event in the North African photovoltaic energy industry. DAS Solar N-type series 635W 78-cell bifacial double-glass module, the 615W 72-cell rectangular bifacial double-glass module, the 465W 54-cell rectangular bifacial double-glass module, and the 475W lightweight module were all prominently displayed at this exhibition.

The N-type series modules feature DAS Solar's self-developed high-efficiency N-type TOPCon cell technology, achieving a mass production efficiency of up to 22.8%. With its 78-cell large cell design, the showcased 635W bifacial double-glass module increases optical utilization and reduces LCOE, resulting in greater economic value. The 615W 72-cell rectangular module maximizes efficiency, power, manufacturing, process, and transportation advantages by optimizing module size. N-type modules have also been upgraded in performance, including high temperature resistance, low degradation, a low temperature coefficient, and excellent load resistance. By incorporating these high-reliability features, the modules are able to withstand the hot, sandy conditions of Egypt and its surrounding regions, fully taking advantage of the desert climate and meeting the diverse requirements of various application scenarios.

For the local distributed photovoltaic market, DAS Solar introduced the N-type all-black rectangular module, which has gained significant attention. Modules with up to 465W output power and 22.8% conversion efficiency are lightweight, refined, and highly efficient, seamlessly integrated into building rooftops. To address the load limitations of rooftops, DAS introduced lightweight half-cell modules that overcome installation challenges on low-load roofs by addressing local rooftop load limitations. By optimizing materials and encapsulation technology, the modules reduce weight by 70%, making them easier to install. Additionally, they maintain stable power generation even in cloudy or foggy days conditions with excellent heat dissipation and superior low-irradiance performance.

By participating in this exhibition, DAS Solar built strong relationships with local distributors, laying the groundwork for further market penetration. The company will continue to leverage its highly reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective products and ensure global customers long-term optimal value in the future.
