Recently, DAS Solar received the latest certification report from the quality testing center for solar photovoltaic and wind power systems at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Electrical Engineering. Based on the self-developed TOPCon3.0 plus technology, the efficiency of the N-type TOPCon cell of M10 size (area 333.05cm2) reached the peak of 26.24% and the open circuit voltage Voc was up to 730mV (333.05cm²). At the same time, open circuit voltage set a new world record for the highest Voc of TOPCon cells.

Dr. Song Dengyuan, Chief Technology Officer of DAS Solar, overall expert of the National Key R&D Program of China on Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Technology, and Chairman of the SEMI China Standards and Technology Committee, stated that the highest reported open-circuit voltage for N-type TOPCon cells with a double-sided metal electrode structure was 724.9mV, as reported by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Germany. The achievement of an open-circuit voltage as high as 730mV for DAS Solar's TOPCon cells indicates a significant breakthrough in the development of passivation technologies, which holds great significance for the continuous improvement of TOPCon cell efficiency.

DAS Solar has focused on researching and industrializing N-type TOPCon technology. The TOPCon 3.0 Puls cell, which has been certified by a third party, is based on DAS Solar's independently developed i-SE technology, ultra-thin polycrystalline silicon technology, and micro-doped ut-PolySi technology. In addition, DAS Solar has successfully developed a new type of emitter layer surface passivation technology, called mt-Pass, which upgrades its N-type technology to TOPCon3.0 plus. This mt-Pass technology significantly reduces the emitter's recombination current, which brings the passivation effect close to the backside SiO2/PolySi passivation technology. DAS Solar's computer theoretical model simulation indicates that this type of cell structure can achieve an open-circuit voltage of over 736mV, and the efficiency of the cell can reach over 27%.

The third-party certified cell's Voc is 730mV, and efficiency has reached 26.24%, demonstrating that DAS Solar's TOPCon3.0 plus cell structure is the most advanced and can mass-produce at a low cost. Currently, TOPCon 4.0, DAS Solar technology based on high carrier selective materials and novel cell architecture, is under development. It is believed that this technology will continuously improve the conversion efficiency of the cells.
